Grinding Additive for NVK™ Cement
NVK™ cement additives are generally liquid products of organic and/or inorganic compounds, added to the mill along with clinker, mineral additions, and other cement constituents to improve productivity and/or cement properties.
NVK™ additives can be grouped into three different categories:
Process additives or grinding additives , whose use aims to improve the productivity and handling of cement;
Performance Additives or Quality Enhancers , which include, in addition to grinding compounds, compounds for improving the performance properties of cements, such as setting time and initial and final strengths;
Functional additives modify specific properties or characteristics of cement, such as performance in concrete like reducing water demand, incorporating air in special cements for mortar, among others.
