Air-Entraining Additive for Cellular Concrete/Mortar NovaFoam
Chloride-free air-entraining admixture for use in concrete and lightweight mortar. Developed for concretes and mortars requiring lower density and easier handling.

NovaFoam is an additive that generates stable air foam for the production of lightweight concrete and mortar for filling or cellular concrete blocks.
It can be used in conjunction with a foam generator with the same equipment used in regular concrete production, respecting the appropriate mixing and material dosage conditions.
The mortar or concrete must contain an adequate amount of mixing water and plasticizing additives to allow for proper homogenization. Furthermore, the mixing conditions, considering time, speed, and minimum rotation speed, are important to achieve maximum incorporation of the foam generated in a stable manner throughout the transport and placement of the mortar and lightweight concrete.

Air-Entraining Additive for Cellular Concrete/Mortar
NBR 11768/19
NovaFoam is used as a foam-generating additive, through the use of specialized equipment incorporated directly into the production of concrete/mortar.
Lightweight concrete with a unit mass of up to 600 kg/m³ (depending on materials, temperature and mixing conditions) ;
Subfloor mortar;
Slab filling and finishing ;
Walls and floors with acoustic and thermal insulation;
Concrete and mortar for filling;
Filling in pits, trenches, mines and contaminated soils;
Other types of lightweight concrete and mortars.
What are the advantages of using NovaFoam air-entraining admixture for cellular concrete/mortar?
NovaFoam caters to a wide range of applications in the production of lightweight concrete and mortars. The main advantages of its use are listed below:
It allows the production of concretes with densities lower than conventional ones, between 600 and 1,000 kg/m3;
With the same equipment available at the plant or construction site, it is possible to produce lightweight concrete and mortars;
It promotes characteristics in mortars and concretes that provide greater acoustic and thermal insulation, as well as lower load on structures due to its reduced specific mass;
The resulting foam has high stability and is easily incorporated into other materials;
Easy to apply due to its high fluidity, ideal for filling voids and hard-to-reach places.
