Next-generation superplasticizer for use with contaminated aggregates Hyperkem™ CY
Hyperkem™ CY is a polycarboxylated-based superplasticizer additive specially formulated for aggregates contaminated with clays.

Hyperkem™ CY admixtures are SP II type water-reducing superplasticizer admixtures specially formulated with molecules that improve performance when concrete is produced with contaminated aggregates, primarily clay.
They provide a lower dosage of product for a given workability when compared to usual PCE-based superplasticizers. Furthermore, Hyperkem™ CY superplasticizer is used to optimize cement consumption in wall concrete , improving its early-age strength.

Hyperkem™ CY is used as a superplasticizing additive in concrete batching plants and precast industries, when fine aggregates with contamination, mainly by clay, are available for the production of:
High-flow , self -compacting concrete (SCC);
High early and final strength concrete ;
High-performance concrete CAD ;
Concrete with a low water/cement ratio;
Correction of concrete slump on site;
Pumped concrete;
Shotcrete;
Other types of concrete with lower dosage compared to normal PCE.
What are the advantages of using the latest generation superplasticizer for use with contaminated aggregates, Hyperkem™ CY?
Hyperkem™ CY superplasticizing water-reducing additives were developed to meet a wide range of applications. The main advantages of their use are listed below:
Increased workability and slump of concrete , even with contaminated aggregates;
Recommended for use in increasing slump or reducing water content in ready-mixed concrete , precast concrete, and high-compacting concrete.
Water reduction of over 25% in high-consumption concrete, with gains in initial and final compressive strengths;
Controlled grip, allowing for quick demolding;
Wide dosage range allowing the production of various families of fluid and self-compacting concrete without the drawbacks of delayed setting;
A chloride-free water-reducing admixture, eliminating any risk of corrosion of the reinforced concrete reinforcement bars due to the admixture's influence;
Stability during storage without sediment formation or clogging of tank dispensers and valves.
