Aditivo Modificador de Viscosidade para concreto MVA Novakem
MVA is a viscosity modifier additive for use in fluid concrete . Developed for high performance and reduction of segregation or improvement of concrete pumpability. Used in conjunction with SP II type superplasticizing additives.
MVA Novakem is a viscosity-modifying additive that thickens the free water in the mixture, reducing segregation and bleeding, and improving rheology, especially in fluid and self-compacting concretes.
It is a high-performance liquid concrete admixture that significantly improves the rheological and viscoelastic properties of fresh concrete . Due to its action, it allows for the production of pumped concrete with reduced segregation, even in mixtures with a deficiency of fine particles. Ideally, it should be combined with a water reducer, and can be combined with admixtures from the Hyperkem™ and Polykem lines.
MVA Novakem is recommended as a viscosity-modifying additive in the following applications:
All types of pumped concrete;
Concrete with varying fines content;
Low-consumption concrete or concrete with discontinuously graded aggregates, with low water retention and segregation;
Controlling exudation in self-compacting concrete;
Submerged concrete ;
Applications in structures requiring high launching capacity and in locations with difficult-to-access launching areas;
For pumping concrete over long distances and to great heights ;
Foundations and continuous flight auger piles.
