Superplasticizing Water Reducing Additive – SP II Hyperkem™

Hyperkem™ is a chloride-free, SP II superplasticizing water-reducing admixture for use in ready-mixed concrete, precast concrete, and infrastructure. It promotes increased slump or gains in initial and final strengths without significantly affecting setting time.

Hyperkem™ additives are SP II type water-reducing superplasticizers added to concrete during its preparation; they increase the workability of the concrete or promote a high reduction in water content.

They provide high strength due to their effect of extremely high water reduction or increased plasticity in concrete. Furthermore, the Hyperkem™ superplasticizer is used to optimize cement consumption in high-strength concrete , improving its durability and properties in the plastic state.

What are the advantages of using Hyperkem™ SP II type water-reducing superplasticizer additives?

Hyperkem™ superplasticizer water-reducing additives were developed to meet a wide range of applications. The main advantages of their use are listed below:

  • Production of High-Performance Concretes , mainly CAD type concrete and precast elements ;

  • Recommended for use in increasing slump or reducing water content in ready-mixed concrete , self-compacting concrete, and high-strength concrete.

  • Water reduction of over 40% in high-strength concrete, resulting in gains in initial and final compressive strength;

  • Controlled grip, allowing for quick demolding;

  • Wide dosage range allowing the production of various families of self-compacting concrete (SCC) without the drawbacks of delayed setting;

  • Free of chlorides, eliminating any risk of corrosion of the reinforced concrete reinforcement due to the influence of the additive;
