NBR 11768/19

Novatard Water Retarder Plasticizing Additive

Water-reducing, plasticizing, and retarding admixture , chloride-free, for use in ready-mixed concrete. Specially developed for concretes produced with composite cement in hot climates, resulting in increased final strength and less effect on setting time retardation.

Represa com aditivo plastificante redutor de agua

Novatard additives are water-reducing plasticizers added to concrete during its preparation . They increase the workability of the concrete and help control slump during transport, and are especially recommended for concrete in hot climates.

Engineers assessing construction work in intense heat.

Novatard is used as a multifunctional additive in concrete batching plants for the production of:

  • Concrete in hot climates ;

  • Conventional and pumped concrete ;

  • Foundation and piles;

  • Slabs;

  • Floors;

  • Concrete pavement;

  • Other types of concrete.

Quais as vantagens em usar o aditivo plastificante redutor de água retardador Novatard?

Novatard retarding water-reducing admixtures were developed to meet the needs of a wide range of composite cements with mineral additions. The main advantages of their use are listed below:

  • Water reduction of more than 8% in typical concrete mixes, resulting in increased compressive strength at 7 and 28 days;

  • Recommended for use as a line additive in batching plants and general infrastructure projects;

  • Concrete pouring in hot weather ;

  • It provides improved maintenance of the slump during transport ;

  • Free of chlorides, eliminating any risk of corrosion of the reinforced concrete reinforcement due to the influence of the additive;

  • Stability during storage without sedimentation or clogging of tank dispensers and valves;

  • Ease of use in concrete applications for pavement, mass concrete and conventional concrete.
