Hydrakem™ Hydration Stabilizing Additive
Hydrakem™ is a chloride-free hydration stabilizing admixture for use in ready-mixed concrete. Developed for concretes that require greater control over the initial hydration of the cement .

Hydrakem™ is an additive that controls the initial hydration reactions of cement, allowing predictable control over the behavior of concrete in its fresh state and its hardening . It also improves slump retention during transport when used in conjunction with the standard multifunctional additive.
It can be used to reuse the wash water stored inside concrete mixer trucks, providing safe water recycling for new concrete production, without adverse effects on the setting and hardening of the new concrete.
This sustainable way of reusing non-renewable resources reduces the environmental impact of concrete production , especially in large urban centers.
Furthermore, it is possible to reuse unused concrete by stabilizing it with Hydrakem™ for periods of a few hours or up to 72 hours in a predictable and safe manner.

Hydrakem™ is used as a hydration stabilizing additive in concrete batching plants for the production of:
Concrete in hot climates ;
Concrete transported over long distances;
Stabilization of wash water inside the concrete mixer for reuse;
Stabilization of mortar produced in a batching plant;
