Biokem Desmold mold release agent

Concrete release agent, for use in metal or wooden forms . Improves demolding and allows for higher quality, stain-free exposed concrete surfaces.

Biokem Desmold is an oil-based emulsion for application on metal and wood molds. It facilitates demolding and results in improved-looking exposed concrete surfaces . Mold removal is significantly easier, reducing cleaning costs.

Biokem Desmold is supplied ready for use and should not be diluted or mixed with any other product. It is recommended to apply it with a sprayer, sponge, or brush. Avoid excess product. After a few minutes, a uniform film forms on the surface of the molds.

After application, keep the molds sheltered from rain. Remove excess dust from the molds.

When concrete is to receive further treatment (painting), it is recommended, after demolding, to wash the surface with water, neutral soap, and a nylon brush to remove any residual film of the release agent.

Biokem Desmold is used as a mold release agent in the following applications:

  • Metal molds for concrete and structural masonry;

  • Wooden molds.
